Mcdonald
I may be alone here, but I am going to throw this out anyway. I did not see any of the game yesterday. I did read about the game and what D. Mcdonald did. I just checked the box score today and it appears he has hit another home run. Just now I decided to click on his player card and was astonished by his appearance. I will not get into too much detail, but I was definitely picturing a more John Mcdonald-esque appearance. In hindsight the name Darnell should have been a clue. Anyway, keep up the good work D-Mac.

After hitting the HR last night and getting congratulated by his teammates, he strutted around the dugout for a bit with his helmet still on. When he took it off, he revealed the figurative crown of all great hitters- the doorag.
ReplyDeleteInterestingly enough, I looked up "doorag" in the dictionary because I wasn't sure how it was spelled. I had it right, but I'm glad I looked it up because this is how dictionary.com used it in a sentence: "he caught his doorag on a branch."
I always thought it was dewrag, like it protects your head from, I guess, dew.
